Hvar Resident Publishes Authoritative Sports Injuries Self-Help Guide
Vivian Grisogono's Second Edition available for pre-order
Tucked away in the hills of inland Hvar, there is a magical treatment room, which has been converted from a konoba. It is known by many grateful Hvar residents, whose various ailments have been treated by retired Croatian physio Vivian Grisogono.
Grisogono, who lived and worked for much of her life in London, before retiring to Hvar several years ago, enjoyed a successful career, both as a physiotherapist (including being the physio for the British Olympic Team) and a writer on sports injuries.
The first edition of Sports Injuries: A Self-help Guide, written in the 1980s, was critically acclaimed and became the authoratitive work on the subject. Here are some critiques of the first edition:
