The quality of Hvar's hotel offer has improved immeasurably since ORCO Group invested in the Suncani Hvar hotel chain in 2005. Hvar Town's hotels have undergone a luxury makeover, with Hotel Riva and Adriana among the most exclusive on the Adriatic, while Hotel Amfora is a very popular upmarket family resort.

Hvar Town has other quality hotels outside the Suncani Group, including the central boutique Hotel Park and the supremely positioned Hotel Podstine, a little north of the town.

The hotels of Jelsa and Stari Grad have lagged behind somewhat, given their lack of investment, but this brings the advantage of cheaper price. A full guide below.
