From the humble tent to the luxury campervan, Hvar is open for camping business, and there is a wide selection of choice available.  Top end of the market is Camp Vira, near Hvar Town, part of the Suncani Hvar group, while Camp Mlaska on the other side of the island near Sucuraj is also very popular.

Jelsa is most accessible for the backpacking camper, a five-minute walk from the daily catamaran, while Stari Grad's Jurjevac is a short walk into town. There are several other sites dotted around the coast, including some options for naturists.
