When the Ancient Greeks sailed in to what it modern day Stari Grad, it was assumed that they were fairly early on the residential scene on Hvar, but a chance discovery by paleontoligists in 2004 revealed they were 90 million years behind Hvar's first inhabitants, the titanosaurs.
