Hvar: In Love with February

Fresh from its luxury New Year spa package at Hotel Adriana, Suncani Hvar has hit the ground running in 2012 by renaming the month of February 'the Month of Love' and inviting guests to celebrate the romantic month in Hotel Riva, named by Sunday Times readers as among Europe's Top 100 small hotels in 2011.

Friday:

Your romance begins from the moment you arrive: we will take you to your candlelit room, where you can relax with small gift bags of aromatic Hvar lavender, whose rich fragrance and well known healing properties will soothe your senses and prepare for the rest of your evening.

Waiting for you in your room is the ultimate sharing experience – taste the freshness of fruit dipped in rich chocolate; as every great partnership requires some Fizz, enjoy a glass of fine Italian Prosecco. This is guaranteed to give you a great start to your stay with us. Once you are ready, our Sensorí spa therapist will offer an introduction to relaxation with head and neck massage in the comfort of your own room.

We have a number of romantic walks that will take you to the centre of the old town, which boasts the largest square in Dalmatia, the magnificent Cathedral, the historic Arsenal and one of the oldest public theatres in Europe.

Tonight for dinner, we have planned a candlelit gourmet experience at our Roots restaurant, where our resident guitar player will gently entertain you with romantic tunes.

Saturday:

Your morning begins when you are ready to receive a champagne breakfast delivered to your room.

Many people have yet to discover the hidden secrets of Hvar island and surrounding archipelago of the Paklinski islands. We have arranged for you to have a private picnic lunch on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic (weather permitting).

In the afternoon, join us at Tomić winery, one of Hvar’s award winning wineries, where we have planned out world’s first tasting of Mr Tomić’s 2011 Opolo nobile rosé. Think Beaujolais nouveau, but add Hvar and the Month of Love - this tasting is not to be missed!

This evening, we have prepared a relaxed dining experience at our BB Club, where you will enjoy our chef’s homemade pasta, prepared with our very own olive oil, and freshly baked bread.

Following the sunset, we offer you to celebrate the Month of Love by launching Chinese lanterns into the sky with your secret love messages.

Sunday:

Enjoy breakfast the way you choose: served in the comfort of your room or at breakfast buffet at our Roots restaurant and remember, in the Month of Love, check-out time is your decision!

For your convenience, we have also included a return catamaran transfer for two persons from Split city port.

If you wish to extend your visit you can do so at the special price of 70 eur per room per night.
